Anyway, I gave my little brother The Guide to Getting it On which is the best sex book in the world. My little bro unwrapped it, everyone looked, and a grim silence fell over the table. My little brother broke the ice by joking "Well, [Jesse] knows his audience," and handed the book to his girlfriend, Amanda. Amanda, not knowing what to do exactly, flipped through the book, as she thought she was expected to, and quickly set it aside, telling me later, "I did not want [my parents] to think of me that way." My parents have not commented on the gift, except by their silence.
