I got my essay back the other day. I wrote a stream of consciousness essay on the definition of a procrastinator. I got a B- and a lecture from my instructor telling me I am too smart for this class. Ok. So she wants me to work on Russian writers or something. Great, more work. In lieu of this Expository Writing class (which is a basic requirement that the whole school needs to take) I was going to take a 300 level sociology course. These days, I am kind of glad I am taking a 100 level course, even if I am too smart for it, because a) it means less work and time (and time is a big deal w/ me working full time and taking classed) and b) it is required anyway (I wish I could test out of it).

My other classes keep me busy too. I feel pretty good about the statistics test I took on Monday, and i look forward to having it returned to me. My sociology test, taken on last Thursday, I am a little less confidant about, but we'll see what happens. I have a big project for that class that I really need to buckle down on too. The only problem is that i don't have any time to work with my classmate on this project. Oh well. We will just have to make time.

At work, they now have me training other persons, which I guess is sort of a promotion, although I don't get paid more (yet). I sparked a Memorandum release from our managers yesterday. I don't really want to go into it (I am at work now, even if they are not) but it did seem a little petty.

I went out to the Southbridge Books & Beans reading last night and caught a fly feature and a cool open mike. I did Shappy. In Southbridge. I fucking rock. Afterwards, John Larson, Jaydep and myself headed out to the Boyton. I bumped into Tim and Melissa Worcester. John, Jaydep and myself had pizza. I had a beer. It was fun.

Tomorrow, I will need to head out to Webster for the family dinner. I have been able to avoid it for the last two weeks, but I am running out of excuses and, to tell the truth, it would be nice to see everyone. Besides, I have to work tomorrow and then go to the Hut, so I wouldn't need to be there long.

Brady Little sucks. Why wasn't Pedro taken out in the 7th? Why weren't the closers warming up?
