Conversation last night:

My friend Jim: "I see that they are having a recruitment drive for the draft boards."

Me: "Well, I WAS planning on getting in shape."

Laughter all around.

(Lia: This was at Rob's game. For Saturday's game, Rob is creating a Colossal Turkey and Suckling Pig as monster. Suggested special abilities for the Turkey include Frightening Gobble, Wingstorm, Swallow Whole, Tripetfane bite, Bread Stuffing ooze inside, gravy weakness.)

Here's hoping all our service men and women can have a safe and happy Thanksgiving and that our "leaders" get their heads out of their asses and their hands out of other people's business.

Personally, I am heading out tonight to upstate New York for the familial gathering and staying till Sunday. Thankfully, I have Friday off from work.

It is nice to have a little vaca from work and school. I just have to make it through today...

...which may not be that easy given that I have a bad migraine. This time last year, I was in constant pain from migraines, this year it has been much better, but today my temple pounds.

After work I drive out to my mom's house and then we go to New York.
