It is likely that this entry will be shorter than I expected earlier today.

I went out to my professor's house on Saturday to drop off my paper. That was pretty cool and her family was pretty cool. Her pretty daughter said she would be at the poetry reading on Sunday, she didn't show.

My professor and her family are Jewish. It was nice talking with them.

Sunday I also visited my folks, saw family friends Larry and Maureen and received my b-day present from my folks, they got me a laptop. I'm pleased as punch.

Sunday I also went to the slam. I have no doubt that all of the performers gave 110% the whole way through, but the scoring was really closer than it should have been. That’s just my opinion.

Work has been busy and hard the last couple days.

I made chili on Monday. Good shit.

So, tomorrow, I go to my folk's house and hang out. I'll spend the Eve and most of Xmas with them. I have to be back at work on Friday, I'll probably do about 11 hrs there (I get more the more I work on the 26th). I hope I can stand it.

I got my Xmas shopping done. Go me. Now I just need to wrap.

And then I have the 31st till the 4th off. Going back to Worcester NY for the extended family Xmas.

An old high school friend shot me an email. I'll have to get in touch with him. I called an old college friend; she wants to hang w/ me.
