Addendum: Morris stayed at my place last night. He wanted to try out the Xbox, so I let him. I checked today on how long he had been playing Ninja Gaiden. 4 hours. At night. He probably turned in around 3:30 or 4 am

Addendum 2: Every Tuesday I hang out with a guy who's mustache is older than I am. Hell, this mustache has seen Armstrong walk on the moon; it is probably older than you.

Recent Acquisitions:

Music: Placebo, Without You, I am Nothing Awesome math-rock kinda stuff. Reminds me of an angry Flaming Lips.

Comics:

Seth, It’s a Good Life, If You Don't Weaken plenty cool graphic novel about a cartoonist's search for a cartoonist's cartoonist. Good example of what modern cartooning owes to the past, and how little it is appreciated. Kind of melancholy.

Rugg, Maruca Street Angel Awesome little small press book dealing with child homelessness, insane geologists and ninjas.

Jim Mahfood, Grrl Scouts: Work Sucks What happens when 3 ne'er-do-well women quit dealing grass and get jobs?

Thomas, Windsor-Smith Conan Chronicles Volume II I swear I bought this before Dr. Chris read that poem on the 14th.

Books:

Christopher Moore Lamb: The Gospel According to… Biff I saw it, I had to buy it, if only because everyone else says it is so great. DAMN PEER PRESSURE!

Rajani Kanth Capitalism and Social Theory: The Science of Black Holes
Ralf Dhrendorf Class and Class Conflict in Industrial Society
Makdisi, Casarino, Karl Marxism and Beyond Marxism
Daniel Bell Marxian Socialism in the United States
Arnowitz, Cutler Post-Work
J. Hillis Miller Theory Then and Now
Elizabeth Bronfen The Knotted Subject
Yeah, so Tatnuck had a sale on sociology books.
